Advanced Deep Tissue Techniques of the Crus and Foot

Friday, June 6th, 2:00 - 6:00 pm

Taught by Michelle Green, LMT

4 CEs $100

Plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinitis, and shin splints are just a few common conditions of the leg and foot for which clients seek relief from our work.This course is designed to give massage therapists more advanced tools to use on crus and feet that need more specific work to address dysfunction.

 

Students will be able to perform a 50-60 minute session on the crus and feet upon completion to help treat common (and maybe not so common!) conditions in this area.

Advanced Deep Tissue Techniques of the Neck

Whiplash, stiff neck, and tension headaches are just a few examples of conditions originating from the cervical spine and they are common reasons clients seek our work.

In this class you will review the anatomy of the cervical spine and learn advanced techniques to help treat conditions of the neck safely and effectively. 

 

This course is designed to give massage therapists additional tools to use on necks with dysfunction.

Dispel the myths you may have heard by reviewing the fascinating physiological changes during pregnancy and practice confident draping and technique in the side-lying and semi-reclined positions.

Adrienne Asta is the owner and founder of Cerebral Vortex Education and has been practicing massage since 2001. Having worked in a wide breadth of educational and clinical environments, she has a keen sense of the challenges that are common across the industry from education to practice. Once deeply involved in the education arm of the massage industry, Adrienne held various positions in a spectrum of school environments since 2002. She has developed ancillary materials for textbooks widely used in massage therapy programs and has trained all levels of practicing massage therapists and educators.

Adrienne has a full-time practice in Tucson, AZ and holds advanced certifications in neuromuscular therapy and prenatal massage. Her clients seek her for a gentle and informed approach to pain management. She is privileged to serve as President for the Massage Therapy Foundation. 

​

Adrienne joyfully donates a portion of her proceeds to The Massage Therapy Foundation and to Healwell – two very distinguished non-profit organizations that elevate the massage profession.
