About the Event

Ayurveda,  "the Science of Life", is the ancient holistic medicine from India. In this interactive lecture and workshop, NAMA board-certified Ayurvedic practitioners Tanja Bungardt-Price and Panchakarma therapist Bill Price will share a basic understanding of the elements and doshas (Vata, Pitta and Kapha) as a constitution (Prakruti) and imbalances (Vikruti), which makes us unique in who we are and what we need to be happy and healthy in our daily lives.

The lecture includes learning the benefits of an ancient ritual called Abhyanga and which specific oil to use for your needs.

Bill will teach you how to do this ancient ayurvedic daily routine (Abhyanga) for self-care in detail. This daily ritual will help maintain healthy lymphatic and blood flow throughout your body, while connecting with your nervous system, keeping you calm, grounded and peaceful.
